Sarcastic, Snotty, Annoying Teenagers churning out a sarcastic, snotty, annoying and an almost sickly poppy '77 punk rock'n'roll set. also, kinda' doing it to see how many people we manage to annoy, too!

"By the time The Tartan Scars were on, I was well pissed. From what I can recall, they were outstanding and went down really well with the packed to the rafters West Coast crowd, with their snotty Briefs style original material and a lively performance by their frontman (when have you ever seen a singer crowdsurfing in the West Coast? Honestly? On a Wednesday?).
I’d heard so many mixed reports about this band, but having briefly seen the old line up live and heard the demos, it became clear on Wednesday night that this was a different band entirely. Great to see Patty punkin it up on stage again, and covers of The Briefs’ “Rotten Love” and Buzzcocks’ “What Do I Get” caused about as much chaos as you’d expect on a night full of high spirits and much tomfoolery.

Great band and looking forward to seeing them again, maybe I’ll be a bit less pissed next time." - Deadbeat Dave.
